Copper Nickel 9010, often called Cunifer, is an alloy known for its remarkable toughness. Its composition is primarily copper, alloyed with about 10% nickel and small additions of iron and manganese. This specific blend is what gives the tubing its excellent resistance to seawater corrosion and biofouling. Mechanically, it boasts high tensile strength and outstanding ductility, allowing it to be easily formed and welded while maintaining integrity under pressure.
